OUR PRIORITY

As we enter week two of this pandemic, our priority remains to balance the safety of self, family and members, while at the same time meeting the needs and expectations that our members want and deserve in this unprecedented time. Our work environment is where we start. Please know that we will be evaluating often and change as needed updates about upcoming events, meetings and open office times.

OUR ROLE

As the Association, our role is to be here for our members. Our commitment is to stay available and engaged on issues that are or will be affecting our industry now and in the future.

We understand the importance of business activities needing to move forward. We will continue to work with our government officials to keep businesses operating and our economy moving forward.

We will provide updates on this on a periodic basis. We will also monitor updates from the NC Department of Health, NAHB and any other resources that you need to know about.

IN-PERSON MEETINGS REMAIN CANCELED

As you already know, Builder Appreciation Night & MAME are being postponed to a later date. For future events, as well as HBA Committee and Council, in-person meetings are cancelled and will coincide with the Stay at Home Orders of Triangle Counties.

Some meetings will be held via conference call on an as-needed basis. We will continue to monitor the situation and evaluate meetings as we get closer to the meeting date.

In an effort to keep staff and members safe, the HBA office will be open to staff only for the next couple of weeks.

We will let HBA members know when the office is once again open for visits and drop-bys.
