Incoming President Looks to Promote the Local Housing Industry

During the Home Builders Association of Raleigh – Wake County (HBA) annual Installation and Hall of Fame Ceremony on December 6 at the NC Museum of History, Jeff Logsdon, owner/president of Hearthstone Luxury Homes part of Arthur Rutenberg Homes, was installed as 2019 HBA President.

“Each year the President of this association has the task of moving our organization to the next level,” said Wes Carroll, HBA Past President, newly-inducted Hall of Fame recipient and owner of Upright Builders. “The president and leaders have shaped this association over the years through their time, talent, and service. As a result, the HBA continues to be one of the best HBAs in the country.”

Logsdon addressed the board and association saying that the local climate has continued to cause challenges within several corners of our county, and has ultimately dampened our collective ability to serve the home buying needs here in the Triangle. In 2019, he is looking at the resources of the Association that will continue to strive forward, to combat negative sentiment, and to get positive messages out to both members and the public.

Logsdon added, “For all of these challenges, we’ll continue the practices of our past leadership to engage our members, seek their feedback and ideas, work toward implementing various action plans meant to support the success of our businesses, give back to our communities, and try to make sure everyone knows it!”
